Supporting the Towle Family
Welcome to Theodochos! A threshold where you can find updates and help support and connect with Nicholas and Lorena Towle as their family answers the call to seminary formation to the priesthood in the Byzantine Catholic Church.
It is also the home of the future nonprofit Theodochos.
What is Theodochos?
Theodochos, “The God-Receiver,” takes its name from St. Simeon, who inspired by the Holy Spirit was brought into the Temple and was given the grace to HOLD the Word made flesh in loving rapture. In that same posture of trust and surrender, we hold up the families called into the Byzantine priesthood, recognizing in them the poverty and simplicity of the Holy Family. Together, we sustain the Domestic Church that nurtures the Holy Priesthood.
